EPCGuide provides general educational information. It is not legal, financial, tax, surveying or property-specific energy advice. Always verify current rules and obtain professional advice where a decision depends on your circumstances.
Calculators and estimates
Tool results are indicative estimates based on the information entered and general assumptions. Actual EPC scores, eligibility, costs and savings can differ. Only an accredited assessor can issue an EPC, and only the relevant scheme administrator can confirm grant eligibility.
Accuracy and availability
We work to keep information accurate and current, but laws, funding schemes, prices and third-party pages can change without notice. We do not guarantee uninterrupted availability or that every page is complete or error-free.
Permitted use
You may use and link to EPCGuide for lawful personal and business research. You may quote short passages with clear attribution and a link. Republishing substantial content, datasets or site functionality requires written permission.
Paid products
EPCGuide sells the EPC C Action Plan and the Landlord Compliance File. The Action Plan is prepared by hand for your specific property. The Compliance File is built from your property's EPC record and checked before the link reaches you. Both are services rather than instant downloads.
The Landlord Compliance File is sold as a founding pre-order. One property is £59 as a single payment. Portfolio covers up to 10 properties at £99 a year and can be cancelled at any time, which stops the next renewal. Your file is delivered within 24 hours of purchase. If it is not, email us and we will refund the full amount. Separately, if you are not satisfied with your file, email us and we will refund you in full, no questions asked.
You have a statutory right to cancel a distance purchase within 14 days and receive a full refund. Email hello@epcguide.co.uk within 14 days and we will refund you without asking for a reason. This right is separate from, and in addition to, the 24-hour delivery guarantee and the satisfaction refund. Where you ask us to start work inside the 14-day window, we will still honour the refund in full.
The Compliance File is built around the Minimum Energy Efficiency Standard and the PRS Exemptions Register, which apply in England and Wales only. Scotland runs a separate regime and has no minimum EPC band in force. If you buy for a Scottish property, tell us and we will refund you in full.
Neither product is legal advice, and neither can tell you which exemption you qualify for. Registering an exemption is a decision for your local authority, not for us.
Liability
To the fullest extent permitted by law, Levity Leads Ltd is not liable for losses arising from reliance on general site information, estimates, third-party content or temporary unavailability. Nothing in these terms excludes liability that cannot legally be excluded.
